We met on the dating app Bumble! We chatted for a while on the app and soon realized we had a few things in common. A few days later we decided to meet in person (don't worry mom, close friends had access to our locations). We hit it off right away feeling as if we had known each other for years. We were inseparable after day 1... that is until Jacob moved 235.1 miles away.

For 18 months most weekends consisted of traveling back in forth between Iowa and Minnesota. Never going more than 3 weeks without seeing each other. It's true what they say, distance makes the heart grow fonder.

We got dressed up to go out to dinner for our one-year anniversary. Little did Kathryn know that a selfie in front of a sculpture would turn into a proposal! We celebrated our engagement at Django's over a bottle of champagne gifted by strangers. Now we are both living in Minnesota, excited to start this new chapter of life together!
